Installation, Start-up and maintenance of spark detection systems and process measurement systems. Our systems are primarily used in the wood products industry where our customers manufacture panelboard (OSB, MDF, plywood, etc.) furniture, and paper. Our systems are also used in other industries including foundry, powder & bulk processing, and nonwovens.
Qualified candidate should possess:- Knowledge of basic electronics.
- Strong electro mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Field service experience a plus.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Ability to work and make decisions independently.
- Strong background in Windows 2K/XP systems.
- Be able to work in confined and high places.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
The position requires extensive travel.
The field service technicians are based out of the Portland, Oregon area. Most travel will be within US - Canada, and occasional travel to other countries. Candidates must possess a valid US passport or obtain one within 60 days of employment.
All candidates will be subject to background check and drug screening.
